Description
This is a standard early war issue U.S Army Uniform Jacket has a very nice China, Burma, India Bullion Patch on the right shoulder. As can be seen in the pictures he was Staff Sargent and has an U.S Army air Force on the left should. He also has 2 overseas Stripes plus one longevity stripe. His Ribbon Bar has the good conduct, American Service, National defense and the Asia with 2 Stars Ribbon. For got the collar Disc one is US and the other the enlisted Wing and Prop. It comes with a limited amount of paper work as follows, Certificate of Health Application for appointment to Warrant Officer, which places him in Sq. D 1330th AAF Base, Report of Physical Examination,his Soldiers Individual Pay Record which has only his name service number and next of kin,1944 Red cross Membership Car. Several of these have many copies. Back to the Jacket it has a very clear spec tag and it looks like a size 39 long, It is a 1940 pattern and 1942 mfg. There are 3 minor moth holes but these really don't show. This one should be easy to research with the information on the paper work and serial number in the Jacket.
